Hi all,
Its been a week since my first post and as yet nobody has stepped up to the plate!
I've been reading the Aussie Baseball Forum so I know that many of you have strong opinions on baseball, the competition structure, administration, and of course the Baseball Victoria Research Project.
I don't want to play to an empty stadium so how about helping me understand the good, the bad and the ugly as it relates to baseball in Victoria.
What I really want to come to terms with is how you all got into the game! So 'batters up', tell me your stories, help me to help you and your sport!
Ricky
Maybe you should post on the forum (then again, the mob might shout you down)...
ReplyDeleteEmail around a club questionaire to club committees perhaps. Are you allowed to do this?
Anyway one of the biggest issues I think (as a club administrator), is the lack of umpires. What can baseball do to encourage more umpires in baseball. Do associations need to pay them more?
Good question! Perhaps some current umpires can tell us what motivated them to get into and stay involved.
ReplyDeleteAs for a survey- GH, that is a great idea- and we will be sending two surveys over the next 6 months...so we hope to get you in the game and help us provide the needed perspective to improve your experience!

Hi There, Thanks for the opportunity to post on the BV site. I would like to see more video and audio on the site to complement the written work that is currently posted after each round of games. If you need any help adding audio and video to this blog I can give you a chop out in that area.
ReplyDeleteCam- Thanks for the idea and feedback- will take that on board!
